Venus retrogrades Saturday, July 25 at 0° of Virgo. Venus is the planet most associated with love, romance, beauty and money. Retrograde means when a planet appears to be moving backwards in the sky as observed here on earth. Venus goes retrograde every twenty months or so.Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra however it is in its detriment in the sign of Virgo meaning the positive qualities the planet represents are diminished and not as potent. Any planet going in retrograde motion is generally considered a negative thing, however it usually indicates change, a visit to the past or a restructuring of what the planet itself represents as well as the sign it is in. 0° of any sign or planet is considered to be what is referred to as a critical degree meaning it symbolizes new beginnings and important events in our lives.
